For the past four days i was glued to the TV watching the news of the massacre in Gaza, and this was getting into me and i needed to get away and do something else…yesterday was the day of ”فريدة.. سيدة المقام العراقي” she is taking part in Al-Qurain Cultural Festival, i wanted to be there early to find a seat, because last time when i went with Rabea we ended up setting on the stairs, this time i went with JoJo so i picked him up at around 7:30pm and headed to Dasma theater.
The theater was full and the only seats available were the ones reserved for the VIPs’, but JoJo pulled-up some strings and we got the VIP treatment and seats….am guessing i’ll be going to the rest of the shows with JoJo.
It was a really nice evening apart from a couple of ladies that were setting next to us, they just couldn’t keep their mouth shut and were talking all evening they were so loud that all the peolpe setting around them were giving them that “shut the fuck up look” but they just kept on going.
I don’t know why do people come to such events if they don’t want to shut up and listen…why don’t they go to a Shisha cafe instead.
